I decided to have a look around for a decent chain and lock combo and came across the 12mm Pewag hardened square link chain. The 12 mm chain can not be cut with a bolt cutters or saw or even a hydraulic cutters. It takes a while to grind as well. Check out both videos below:

I was able to source the chain from Pewag in Poland at €42.11 per meter. It costs €39 to deliver. I ordered 1.8 meters at a cost of €115 delivered. Way cheaper than most chains the same size and length.

Coupled with the Abus 37/60 granite padlock its a great security measure and probably enough to deter most bike thiefs :thumbsup2:
