I came across this video where a guy drops his MT07 at 90mph.

He does not confirm he tried to do a wheelie and claims the bike became unstable at high speed essentially by itself. (you have to keep reading the comments for a while to see any sort of input from the YouTuber on the cause)

This is the first time I hear that an MT07 would do such a thing by itself and it worries me as 90mph is well within the capabilities of this bike.

Some people say he’s just not disclosing the full truth, but others say it’s a typical MT07 or even Yamaha issue and a steering damper is a must.

I’m not sure what to think now.

Can someone knowledgeable please tell me if an MT07 needs a steering damper? (I’m getting the 2018 model with improved suspension, but still… …it’s not THAT different from the older model)
