Bringing a 2008 bike in from UK. Mileage 1790 or 2880 klm. Phoned VRT people and they told me as bike has less that 6000 kms it is classed as NEW yes NEW. What! it is second hand. Anyway I will have to pay VAT on price of bike plus VRT which is €465 or if its to low they will use (open market selling price). Any Ideas how to get round this. Will I be forced to clock bike up or is it to much hassle. Thanks people.
