Whats a man to do.
I just got delivery of my Shark visor kit. All in I paid 22euro, That’s for the kit and 9 euro delivery from a German website.
Firstly it sickened me to pay 22 for a few small little screws and bit of plastic, but I was happy to get them I rang a certain unnamed bikeshop looking for them because someone had said Cotters stocks the Shark bits.
Yer man looked to see had he got them and said “yep 38euro”
So I got them off ze Germans. I believe in supporting local business and nothing on the unnamed shop in question. But its a bit sick that a the money has to go out of the country,I would rather support my own but when faced with such a difference for a small item I think of supporting meself.
Has anyone paid the extra to stay local and support local business. Or is everyone the same and think F**k that I’m buying on line?
