I am trying to trace the Yamaha 2 stroke model associated with the model code 4X8. Would be great for a project I am doing if somebody knows. Internet searches have drawn a blank on this

All Yamahas have codes associated with their models

Eg. 5JJ is the 2000 to 2002 R1
5PW is the 2002 to 2003 R1
5EB is the 1999 to 2002 R6
5SL is the 2003 to 2005 R6
1KT is the 1987 to 1992 TZR250
1WR is the 1986 RD350LC
1WS is the 1986 FJ1200S

Useful to know when looking for secondhand parts as many parts are used across more than one model
