Managed to go up to Le Mans for the opening roundof the 2015 season of the FIM Endurance championship.

It was my first time to a 24hour race, and I have to say it was fantastic. Despite the overwelming number of drunken "surrender-monkeys" tripping and falling all over the circuit.

For the stay, I decided to booked a room in a new (5 months old) hotel in the north section town. In other words, on the opposite end of town.
Clean, basic accomodation, and courteous, good-looking staff.
Prices usually run at 24euros, but for such weekends they jack them up to 34euros, which is still good, I think.

One advice: do not rely on public transportation. On Saturday night, I had to walk from Antares all the way to the hotel, because there was no tram service after 00:30, apparently, or there was any taxi or bus service.
I had no car or bike at the time, so I was at their merci.
