Hoffman for Cookstown
Dutch road racer , Michael Hoffman will make his Irish road race debut at this years Cookstown 100 road races. Hoffman, a former supermoto rider, hopes to contest a few Irish road races in 2015 (Kells and Faugheen), with view to competing in a full season of Irish roads in 2016. This deal , to ride the Ex Martin Finnegan Superstock Yamaha, has been made possible, Thanks to Peter McMahon, MD of EICL/Aermec, who are delighted to be back involved with road racing again.
Hoffman has been a regular on the IRRC scene in Europe, and has spoken highly by rival, John Walsh, who, will also lend help to the Dutch newcomer.
Michael has been competing in motorcycle sport since 2000,, off road, then short circuits, He took up road racing in 2009, made his european debut in 2012, and has since competed at the Manx Grand Prix, Scarborough and the Southern 100..
