Michael Laverty is to ride for the Tyco BMW team in the 2015 British Superbike Championship, while Alastair Seeley will compete in the British Superstock series and the North West 200 in May.

Both Northern Ireland riders have ridden previously for the TAS team run by Hector Neill and his son Philip.

Seeley will have a full stable of machinery for the North West, with Guy Martin and William Dunlop also riding.

Martin and Dunlop have been retained by TAS for the entire road racing season.

Their schedule will again include the other international road races, the Isle of Man TT and Ulster Grand Prix, plus selected national races.

The Moneymore-based outfit recently ended their 14-year association with Suzuki to team up with the German manufacturer .

Laverty, a former British Supersport champion, will be joined in the Superbike garage by English rider Tommy Bridewell, who was third in last year’s championship.

The Toomebridge rider has spent the last two seasons competing in MotoGP with Paul Bird Motorsport.

"I’m very motivated about my move back to BSB. I’ve spent the last two seasons in MotoGP and feel I’m a much stronger rider thanks to that experience, both on the riding and the technical side," said Laverty.

"I have really missed not being on a machine capable of delivering wins and podiums however."

Seeley commented that it was great to be back with TAS Racing and to be part of the whole Tyco BMW set-up for next year.

"With factory support and what I believe to be the best machinery for both the Superstock class and the North West 200, I really can’t wait to get started," he said.

"TAS Racing gave me the opportunity to win two British championships so the goal this year is to repay them and hopefully make that three."
