Temple MCC Short circuit event
Temple MCC Short circuit event
Yesterday, the Temple club ran the latest round of the Irish superbike championship at a sunny, but cool Bishopscourt. As always, the Bishopscourt circuit was in tip top condition.
Like many motorsport events, entries are suffering, due to the high costs of competing in motorsport events. But dont let that take away from the close and exciting days racing. Despite it being the smallest capacity class, the 125/300 production class, for beginners, they have continued to produce some of the best racing seen in this class in recent years.
Geard Kinham took pole for the superbike races, and duly went on to take a fine double.
the 600 race again, saw close and exciting racing, with Robert English and Robert Kennedy taking wins apiece.

Unfortunately, the crowds were down,if you have any suggestions as what could improve this, have your say here.
Also, yesterday, took a dander through Paddock during practices, had many chats ,cups of Tay etc.
During my paddock walkabout, and the racing I noticed a few things,
1. there are a few sore loosers!,
2.Nice to see guys have kissed and made up
3.There are those that REALLY do appreciate what we do!
4. Yes, Its the BEST sport in the world,ENJOY lads!!
