The Ulster Centre has upgraded its timing system for short circuits and road races to MYLAPS latest generation X2 system.

All future developments by MYLAPS will be based on the X2 system.

X2 transponders are compatible with the previous generation TRANX timing systems which are still used widely at circuits throughout Ireland & Britain.

Likewise existing TRANX transponders are compatible with the X2 system for timing purposes only. This means that there is no requirement to replace your transponder at this time, but going forward only X2 transponders will be able to benefit from future MYLAPS developments, such as 2-way communication including options to receive on-board data.

X2 transponders are currently available as direct powered with the rechargeable type expected later in 2015.
