Update on Irish Classic Superbike in Mondello

Update on Irish Classic Superbike in Mondello

This update from Mike

Just a few days to go to the Irish Classic Superbike Race sponsored by Downes Solicitors Dublin.
30 confirmed entries as of this evening.
Recent additions include George Farlow ,Gary Thwaites and Padraigh Dooley.
George raced roads and circuits in the eighties and early nineties and is a multiple Irish champion. He retired in 94 and moved to Canada. Delighted to announce that George will ride one of Roger Winfields magnificent XR69s
. GaryThwaites from the UK will bring his rapid Norton 998. Gary is also a multiple UK champ and his bike will add a different sound of thunder to the grid
Padraigh Dooley is also a late addition riding Iain Duffs Yamaha YZF and if he gells with the bike we can expect a strong result from him.
Derek Wilson has been burning the midnight oil for the past few weeks trying to get his RC30 finished and I’m very happy to say that he managed it ( with a little help from his friends) . If Derek finds any of his old form we all have to worry.
Still not 100% sure about riding myself. Medical tomorrow to get my licence back, then Friday practice to see how I go. All going well I’ll be on the grid .
