zx6r Track Tail Piece Fitting

zx6r Track Tail Piece Fitting

I have a 2004 zx6r track bike with track fairings, they were fitted when i got the bike. The initial fitting of them wasn’t the best but I have the fairings and belly pan sorted out, but the tail piece is my concern, worth noting that the tail piece and the seat pan are all the one unit, i just have a foam pad on the seat pan. The tail piece is secured in place with only two bolts, one either side into the rear sub frame, marked with the red circle in the pic below. The tail piece has recesses for these bolts. I am just wondering should there also be bolts fitted down through the back of the tail piece into the rear sub frame, as per the blue arrow? There are no recesses or anything for these bolts and to be honest it would destroy the smooth look of the tail piece but there seems to be a nice bit of side to side movement of the tail piece with just the two bolts holding it. There is also a bit of cracking happening on the gel coat of the area marked with the blue arrow which i suspect is from this movement as i am leaning off the bike. Anyone have any ideas?
