Hi, I’m new to the biking world – bought a scooter (Yamaha Neos) last week and happily use it for commuting to and from work in Dublin.

I have a few questions for discussion:

– Do you use cycle paths from time to time? Is it legal? Or not regulated? It surely makes it easier to navigate through traffice in rush hours but may be a bit more risky and frowned upon by nearby cyclists…

– Have you had any risky situation? I had one that’s worth paying attention to: I was overtaking a car which turned out to be letting another car from the opposite direction to turn right. And that car nearly hit me.
