Registered yesterday, was planning to lurk awhile but now find I need to post.

Today, some delivery guys left a 2m tall office cabinet next to my Bandit. Somehow the cabinet toppled over and landed square on my speedo, smashing the glass and twisting the instruments. The inside plastic liner of the fairing popped up a bit too.

It doesn’t look like there is really any further damage other than the instrument panel and a bit of a star on the screen where a screw holds it to the fairing.

In fairness, the business has offered to pay for the damage. Any suggestions on where to take it for an estimate or how to proceed with this?

I’ll know shortly if it’s just the glass on the speedo or if the speedo itself is damaged. I’ll try to post some photos at some point.
