Howdy boys and girls.

So the cousin just bought a hornet s off here a week ago.
Everything going fine until yesterday when he rang me saying it sounded funny.
He said performance was the same but it just got louder.
Sounded like a blown exhaust gasket to me over the phone.
He poped down this evening and sure enough there was a hole somewhere.

There are two small chrome pipes going into the engine between exhaust header 1 and 2 while sitting on the bike.
That’s where the blow is.
These pipes head from there into a thingamajig that has wires and bits coming out of it.
Looks to me like it may be some kind of Lamba sensor or something like that.

Has anyone replaced these pipes before?
How much?

What the hell is that yoke? the bike was way to hot for me to pull apart and start looking into it.

Finding it hard to pull up a microfiche for one of these… told him to buy a Haynes tomorrow.:lbhbh:
