Guess I didn’t take the warnings regarding maintaining/greasing the rear shock linkage seriously enough. The bike sat down at the rear after crossing a bump this morning. I was doing about 70 at the time, but thank god in a straight line so got it stopped. The dog bone snapped at the rear link, I assume the bearings were all seized up, but I just hadn’t spotted it, despite lobbing a bit of grease onto them occasionally. Fuck me, I could do without this, but at least I’m still walking.
