Said i’d put up a review of a new part on the bandit incase anyone else considered similar.

Haven’t heard of it done much on bandits but decided to give it a try

SVRP adaptor brackets from the u.s fitted a month or two ago. They allow an individual to mount cbr600rr or cbr954 calipers on a sv, but considering the bandit has the same forks as an sv650 (atleast externally) there was a good chance they would suit the bandit also.

Dont know if it will fit older mk1 bandits but it definitely fits mk2 2000 onwards! :woots:

added a set of 600rr calipers, 600rr master and braided lines (have a spare set for sale in buy and sell section) and the difference was unbelievable, also added some sbs sintered pads (seem an excellent pad!)

Needles to say the original brakes werent anything to marvel about but the cbr calipers make a world of difference! I would however recommend a set of uprated fork springs to further improve braking but the calipers do an excellent job.
