right so a mates got a mk1 B6 thats blowing CDis now ive never worked on one b4 but it all looks to be similar to a slingshot 750 so….

is this a common prob with the B6 and if so whats the cause ?

all the wireing on it looks ok so im suspecting reg/rec i assume its the same as slingshot and thats all part of the alt ?

ive got spares from a slingshot will they fit? thinking of just junking the complete loom/alt ect from the B6 and replacing with slingshot stuff for an easy life as i dont want to replace one bit then put in another CDi and have it fryed too as they cost too much to keep buyin the feckin things
