ive been having an electrical issue with an f4 cbr 600 ,

been a lot of messing around because i initially thought the problem was carburation ,

but after a lot of searching on the net its seems not uncommon ‘cbr 600 hot stall issue’ the bike runs perfect but runs rough in traffic when hot and sometimes stalls at lights , after a lot of head scratching and internet searching
it seems the 99 00 model has a genny that might not be up to the job all of the time ,

the bike is charging fine , new yuasa battery , 12.5 off , 13.4 running 14 odd at 5000 , but turn on fan / full lights / brake light , and the power to cdi drops from 13v to 11.5 , i think this is the problem , has anyone fit a f4i genny to a f4 ?? does it fit??

the cbr f4i runs a 100 watt more genny as its injected :thumbsup2:
