Clean up of Viagra 125
Clean up of Viagra 125
Lads,
Just got my first bike (a 02 Viagra 125) and enjoying it 100%. Mechanically the bike is sound, new battery, spark plugs, brakes. New oil filter (and oil change), chain and sprockets all in tip-top shape.
There’s only 7k kilometers on the bike, it was laid up in a shed for the best part of 10 years, unfortunately it looks the worse for wear. There is some corrosion on the mufflers and and heavy pitting on the chrome of the handlebars. In addition the chain guard and wheel rims all show some levels of corrosion as well.
Ive done my best in terms of cleaning as best I can. I know I cant get rid of the pitting or corrosion.
If I was to replace them, where the best place to source parts. Looked on ebay but would prefer to buy locally if possible.
