Have a couple of questions here, any thoughts or suggestions welcome.

First one is on a bluetooth Intercom. I’ve had this Interphone F4 for over a year but since getting a new bike (zx10r) I’ve noticed that when playing music it skips when I put the key in the ignition and turn it on (skips as the clocks reset and the fuel pump kicks in before I start it) and also when I downshift. At least that’s what I think anyway. Also I’ve noticed making calls the other person can’t hear me but this works when I am off the bike. Any ideas what might be causing the interference that I could check out?

Second one is on the axle nut. It’s an M18 Castle nut (I think) but tis a bit rusty. I tried my local engineering crowd to try get a stainless one but they don’t do them. On ebay they are around the 15 – 20 euro mark I think which I thought was a bit steep. Could I use a locknut instead ? When I looked at the nut on my R6 I don’t even think it was a locknut but it was a lot wider than the one on the zx10r.
