Went to start the cbr last week and she laboured unusually and wouldn’t start. Thought it was just the cold weather and not running it for a bit.
Then I checked the oil level and it was up over the sight glass. Balls!
I was planning on servicing and doing the valve clearances one of the days anyway so I drained the oil. Cant say I got much of a smell of petrol from the oil but my sense of smell mightn’t be great and it did drain out pretty easily I thought even while cold.
No sign of any water/coolant in the oil either.
If she was carbed then id go straight for them to look for a leak but shes injected. Can this still happen to injected motors?
