I have a BMW GS650S (800cc) bike. I bought a GPS navigator for the bike. The GPS itself is for cars but I found a nice spot to hold it to the bike.

I’ve ran the cigarette cable to under the seat and a cigarette adaptor to the battery but the connection is Live all the time which I don’t want as it would drain the battery. I have tried a number of outlets on the bike but all appear to be live all the time then the connection is in circuit.

Any ideas where I can weir the cable? My first though would be to the headlights as this turns on only when the ignition is on but the connections to the headlights appears to be oddly shaped an would not take a cable line.

Any ideas or assistance would be greatly appreciate.
