Had a thread up a while ago now about my headlights not working, both dipped and full. Last time a few cable ties stored it.

Now left work got a bit down the road and lights gone again FFs. So I pulled in to inspect couldn’t really see much as it was dark out but noticed me flash to pass button works, so I put some tape over it to at least get me home. Probably blinding ppl along the way but it was a must.

So got home took the faring off and noticed the left hand side white connector has burned out two pins that hold two white wires only. I belive this to be a common fault on the curvy sv. Now I’ve tried to clean it up with contact cleaner and a small brush. I tried it again still nothing. Is it a new connector needed and if it is what can I do to stop it in the future? Could I somehow just bypass the connector by cutting the 2 white wires out and connecting the straight together or with some sort of relay to get me by till I pick up a new connector? :bikerie:
