Changed the shocks on the bike there today. The old OEM bolts are bent. Common enough problem on that model – the mounting is a poor design and needs 60mm and 70mm long M12 bots to accommodate the spacers required.

I need to get some higher grade steel bolts – specifically Grade 10.9 steel M12x1.75 x 70mm.

I tried Caulfield’s online site but they are a bit vague on the grading. Last time I was in one of the specialist suppliers here in Dubland the lad behind the counter didn’t really know anything about the bolt grades either.

Are there any bolt suppliers around who know their stuff and either keep stock or could order me in the stuff ?
