Hello all,

One of my aftermarket indicators is on the fritz, doesn’t work but if i move this wire around a little bit it works again on and off. I’ve traced the problem down to this component, whatever is frayed or broken or loose is inside this black sheath. Can anyone tell me what this part is? Can I simply cut it out of the circuit or do I need to get a new one?
