Hey Lads,

Hoping you can help me narrow down a problem with the lights on my bike. Really hoping its not a case of checking every cable but here goes!

I start the bike and the dipped beams come on no bother. Through the day they will sop and start working. But even when they are not working the high beam “flash” button will always work but yet if i flick the switch from low to high that doesnt work.

If the problem is with the switch that flicks from low to high, im thinking then the flasher button also wouldnt work as its in the same housing and i guess that used the same wiring as the high beam switch.

I have swapped the bulbs with other ones and get the same problem.

Only thing i dont to the bike is put in a new battery. But i do have the fooking gear indicator hooked up to the battery in error. The indicator is programmed by tapping a cable off the battery terminals. When putting i nthe new battery i lose count of what wire is what so stuck em all on.

Gear indicator isnt working now, just displays a spinny circle but i dont give a fuck about that. Just mentioning it as maybe that being connected is fucking with power to the lights?

Or maybe there is just a corroded cable from the lights to the battery thats intermittant?
