Hi, I bought a new Oxford Oximiser 900, I connected the permanent battery connectors under the seat and thought it would be very useful for topping up the battery easily during the quiet winter months when the bike isnt used much.

The battery kept draining when it wasnt plugged into the Oximiser unit though. I double checked the connections to make sure I had installed it correctly, there isnt much even a mug like me can mess up. Eventually I took off the permanent connectors and the problem was instantly solved.

I would like to leave the permanent connectors in place though, if they dont drain the battery, as its much easier than having to unscrew the seat everytime.

Anyone come across this before or have any suggestions?
