Starter Relay (solenoid) blowing fuses

Starter Relay (solenoid) blowing fuses

A couple of months ago I had to replace the starter relay in my GSX 600F.

The original starter relay came with a 25 amp or 40 amp fuse, but the new one came with a 15 amp fuse. Twice now the starter relay fuse has blown when starting the bike. As per murphy’s law not at home but miles from home. I carry spare fuses but its a pain in the butt removing fairings to change a fuse in the pissing rain.

So the question is can I just put a 25 amp fuse in this new relay being that was what was in the original one , or do I risk doing damage by putting in a stronger fuse in this newer relay?
