Looking to replace the rear tyre on the Yamaha R6. Appreciate if you could give me info / thoughts on the following:

1. What tyre would suit some wet, not too wear out after 1000 miles, but decent grip (Michelin Road Pilots seem to get a couple of nods on the internet). Not big mileage, but can be a fair bit when weather is dry for a while.

2. Where would you go for supply and fitment? Greater Dublin area, (north county ideal)

3. Does anyone on here order tyres and then get someone to fit them? If so, where do you order from and where fits supplied-tyres?

(I’d rather ride in somewhere and leave 40 minutes later with new rubber if it doesn’t cripple me bank account).

Also (4) – do ye ever replace rear and front at different times?
