Ok men, I has me a Drz400e that won’t charge the battery.
Being a honda lover when it started to kill the battery on a long run I figured battery or reg/rec.

I replaced the battery thinking it was past its prime as the old one was dropping to 11volts when the bike was running.
The new battery is only holding 12v when the bike is running.

So I swapped out the reg rec for a new one and its sill only sending the battery 12v the manual says it should provide 13-15v.

I ran the positive and earth wires direct to the battery to cancel out corrosion in the lume but still am only getting 12v when the bike is running to the battery.

The resistance on the genny checks out to what it should be in the manual but it’s only giving 50% of the voltage it should be when running.

So have I narrowed it down to the genny/stator or could I be missing something?

Also has anyone got one of these parts or know anyone who has broken a drz recently?
