I bought a 90s Yamaha dt 125 project a few weeks ago and was running fine when I bought it but after a few days of not running I got it started but now its revving really high when idling. I went through the throttle cable and its ok no snags or anything, took the carb out and cleaned it and the choke but its still doing it its for the track so theres no clocks or or any road parts left so I don’t no how high the revs are but way too high. Is there some reason why this is happening could the ypvs valve be jammed open? Hope someone can help Thanks
