So I took into looking at bike prices in France and Germany and the prices are so much better than Ireland with the bikes being in way better condition. With the possibility of my holiday to Italy being cancelled, I’m thinking of taking a week holiday to either France or Germany and bring back 2 or 3 bikes back in the van. Could sell 2 to cover the costs of everything. I know there are lads that do that as a job and it would work out cheaper, but where’s the fun in that.

Has anyone any experience in buying / Importing bikes from there. What’s the craic with log books? I’m guessing they are meant to send them away so how does that work when you have an Irish address and need a logbook to import it?
