So how do you filter on dual carriageway/M50. On the hard shoulder or in between traffic?

Personally, I do not use the hard shoulder unless there is absolutly no option, and even then I slow to a crawl and move out as soon as possible. There’s too much debris there, so risk of punctures higher.

Also, I think cagers do not look if existing early and move onto the hard shoulder.

And the Gardai do not like anyone using the hard shoulder, so more likely to get pulled.

And another question. What is the max speed you filter at before just going with the flow of traffic?
