Hi, I am looking at getting a new (well new to me) Suzuki SV650s. It does not come restricted however, which is what I need to get insured on an A2 learner permit.

Preferably I would like to get the cert but not actually restrict the bike, just to please the insurance company.

Could someone advise on this and how it can be done? :smileee:

Also I heard of a guy that was able to turn the restrictor on/off on his bike (CBR 600) with the flick of a switch, just in case Gardai were to pull him over. Best case scenario I would love to get this done but I have no idea on the price. Safe to say after my last bike got stolen I’m on a pretty tight budget!
