I would like to calculate or at least have an idea of costs while using the bike as main transport.

Assume 30km each way x 2 a day – all in the M50

* what is the cost of petrol on a weekly basis?
* what is the cost of tyres on a annual basis?
* I understand there’s no toll charges on a bike

In terms of gear – I’m covered with gortex – do I need to upgrade/change anything?

Anything else I need to think of?
