Diesel drifting!

Diesel drifting!

Had a diesel drift last Friday evening at a roundabout!
I possibly was going over 40 mph(not kph I know bad idea). Never happened to me lets say with only rain that why I think it was diesel! it was left rear out slide/drift …..I did not put my foot down and the bike was mostly upright the entire 10-15 yard slide/spin out!! I went straight out onto the roundabout like, so luckily all the traffic was going to their left or I’d have been a mess!!
So the question all weekend in my mind has been if you change down on low grip surface does the rear wheel lock up or is it just spinning at the higher revs and momentum is carrying you forward? I was not able to look and see the rear wheel at the time and I cant figure out how it happened or how I did not low side it.. as I really did not want to put it down even though part of me was saying just jump off!!!!…:bag: I also did not touch the front brake only tipped the rear a little, I’m generally ok with braking changing down etc but this was some wake up call late on Friday!!. :dontgetit:
