Low Beam H7 LED Upgrade – Philips Ultinon Xtreme Gen 2 – Anyone interested in one ??
Low Beam H7 LED Upgrade – Philips Ultinon Xtreme Gen 2 – Anyone interested in one ??
So in the interim I have looked at an LED solution.
There are sooo many options out there mainly from chinese brands that are unknown to me and have silly claims and light outputs. Xenons still to this day are brighter but start up time, quick firing on/off when starting the bike damages them, where as LED’s will have no issues.
The Daytona use a H7 low beam and the high beam is H9.
I am really only looking for the H7 low beam as I dont really use the high beam often but the H7 is constantly on.
I always trust quality know manufacturers and Philips would be up there with the best.
They have recently released there new xtreme Utinon Gen 2 model which looks very promising. Claim up to 250% more light on the road than halogen. These also run at 5800K which is a cool white light and close to daylight like the modern cars running LED’s.

So my question is, would anyone be interested in going halves with me as we only need one each and the set comes with 2. The Daytona only uses one H7 meaning I will have no use for the other LED if anyone else runs a H7 low beam and wants one?
I am in no rush to get these or have the spare funds just yet but thought I wold throw it out there.
