So I have moved to Cork (boiii) and we have rented an apartment which has a small back garden (all lawn) where the bike is going to live. There is a tiny garden shed but there aint a hope the bike will fit in it so i will be parking her on the lawn. There is however nice solid steel railings in one corner of the garden to lock the bike to. Unfortunately there is nothing but slopes in every direction of the garden which doesn’t help. Anyway i am thinking of putting down a temporary sort of deck/platform to park the bike on, i am not too keen on parking her on the sloping grass! I could make the deck level and it would make a grand solid platform to be parking the bike on. Then i can throw my oxford cover over her and she will be happy out!
So i am wondering has anyone else had to do something similar? I am looking to do something cheap and cheerful as this place is rented and i wont be here foever. I have a v@n rented for Saturday (tomorrow) for the move so if i need to collect and bulky materials for the build tomorrow would be the day for it. Also i want something that i can remove easily when we move out to keep the landlord happy (must clear it with him first too!!)! Any ideas welcome lads! Sound :bikerie:
