Hi,
my motorbike was stolen 4 weeks ago from my garage and I am now in dispute with the insurance about the settlement (it was insured for theft). The situation is as follows:
Bike was insured at 2000 Euro (bought for 1900 one year ago but did some repairs and upgrades in the meantime). The insurance hired a technical assessor who valued the bike now at 1500 and minus the excess they are willing to pay 1250.

I will not accept this offer, however I am not sure about the legal situation here in Ireland. Does anybody know more/has a contact who would?
