** Urgent stupid question requiring answer please **

Howye lads,

As I have posted over the last few weeks, I picked up a little Honda CBR250RR 1996 project bike. I am actually using this day to day now as Im working in town so its just handy for nipping in and out of traffice. Yesterday on my way into work I was going through donnybrook (inbound) and hit a pot hole really hard. Its just before donnybrook fair on the bus lane positioned slightly to the left. I am 100% sure there are people on here that will know the actual spot im talking about because its been there for fucking years

Anyway when I realised I was going to hit the pothole I applied the back brake and pulled the clutch in (natural reaction), with that the chain fell of the sproket. I threw the bike up on the path, locked it up and hopped a taxi because I was in a rush big time. After work, taxi back to the bike, bent the bike over on its sidestand, guided the chain back on and got her moving again.

Long story short the chain now is alot looser than before so I need to get it sorted. Drove in on the bike again today and thought it would be ok as I was blaming the impact of the pothole. Im taking a corner nice and slow and pop again goes the chain. FUCK SAKE !! :lbhbh:

Same again, got the chain back home, brought her home and popped out the tool kit (10 mins ago). What I noticed is that the bolt (marked in the picture to the left) seems to be rounded. On other bikes I have had these are normal nuts (or am I imagining things?). I couldnt actually manage to tighten the chain at all because I cannot adjust the bolt on the inside (left). The chain adjuster bolt is moving but is restricted by how closer the lock nut is and I cant move it !!!! <(")>

This may come across as a stupid question for some but I would really appreciate some help / answers with this because I am totally dependent on the bike these days and I dont want the fucker to fall of the sprocket and lock up the back wheel on me.

I look forward to hearing your replies !!

Thanks in advance !! :bikerie:
