:woots:

Yes it’s that time of the year again when the stubble is calling, Motocross Ireland is running Round 1 of The Winter Series on the 15th November

This year we are running a four round series where only three rounds will count (a round being the total points accumulated for one days racing) this gives one a chance to take a day off or be still in with a chance to recover points after a bad days racing. The first three will be in Carlow and the fourth in Kilkenny. Round 2 is on 6/12/15, Round 3 is on 3/1/16 and round 4 is on 17/1/16.

This round (round 1) will be hosted at Ballyhackett near Tullow in County Carlow.

The track can be found using GPS: 52°51’05.3″N 6°45’36.2″W

The track will be flowing not start stop where one would rarely get out of 2nd gear, but will require you to use all gears. As in the past it would suit all ages and abilities.

Along with our normal Grasstrack classes listed in, www.motocrossireland.ie/classifications.html , we are also running an “EVO” class this time in the bikes.

5 classes in the quads, there will be no farm class,

There will be trophies down to 4th place.

You don’t require any special license for the championship so whatever clubs you may be a member of (if any) you’re in with the same chance and are equally as welcome.

Sign on from 8:30 practice at 10:00am racing straight after. Due to the dark evenings starting time will be strictly adhered to.

If you have any questions or comments, please phone Bryan on 089 225 2126, William on 086 812 1042 or John for directions on 087 274 6025. Also keep an eye on www.motocrossireland.ie for the latest details
